  The evolution of this Sig Sauer P365 has been an extensive journey in mechanical refinement. Originally purchased as a P365 SAS (Sig Anti-Snag) model, the initial appeal was the innovative Meprolight flush-mounted FT Bullseye sight. However, after the first range session, it was clear that the "anti-snag" trade-offs didn't align with my performance expectations. Leveraging my background as a gunsmith, I began a comprehensive overhaul. Today, very little of the factory original parts remain; only the FCU housing, trigger bar, and takedown lever have been retained. Frame and Recoil Management To improve the ergonomics and weight distribution, I swapped the factory frame for a Wilson Combat grip module weighted with tungsten rods. This added mass significantly assists in stabilizing the platform. Buying a suppressor is already a slow process, so the last thing anyone wants is avoidable delays. My recent experience with Silencer Shop had a mix of frustration and solid customer service, and I think it’s worth documenting for anyone considering the same route. The Initial Order: OCL Polonium 30 On January 16, 2026, I ordered an OCL POL30 (Otter Creek Labs Polonium 30, .30 cal). It showed in stock at checkout. The next day, I received an email saying it was actually back‑ordered. Inventory mistakes happen, but this one dragged on. By March 2, 2026 , the suppressor was still listed as back‑ordered with no clear ETA. At that point, I decided to move on. Our customers have demanded more MagTags! In our initial announcement, we had provided a customer who was a collector of Sig Sauer firearms with tags on all of his magazines. This brought up the question of other kinds of guns. Do we do them? Heck yeah ! We've collected a few photographs of some of the magazines we've done so far to give you an idea of what we can do. We modify the graphics to fit the location of the tag as well as the space available. As usual, we customize for the particular brand, but we can eliminate the logo, if the customer doesn't want to deal with that. One of our customers approached us with an all too relatable problem - a good sized gun collection with multiple magazines per gun had made it difficult to identify which magazine went with which gun. Sometimes, he would have to try each magazine in each firearm or wind up going to the range and being disappointed that he brought the wrong magazine with him. The magazine crisis was at hand, and he asked us if there was a good solution. So, we came up with MagTags. Rather than labels from a label maker, sticky notes, or colored electrical tape (he had tried them all to varying degrees of success), we suggested a permanent mark on each one. We left it up to him where he wanted the tags, and he chose the back bottom, just above the base plate.  With a little testing and some graphics editing, we designed and presented a simple, elegant fix for the problem. We used a laser etching process to mark each magazine with the manufacturer's logo and the model designation of the firearm. Color...

****Updated****  Recent forensic developments regarding the July 2024 fatal shooting at F.E. Warren Air Force Base further substantiate my findings. While the incident was initially reported as an uncommanded discharge of an M18 (P320 variant), prompting a service-wide safety pause, investigations later revealed the narrative was falsified. Two airmen, Sarbjot Badesha and Matthew Rodriguez , have since pleaded guilty to making false official statements to cover up a case of gross negligence. Their testimony confirmed that the primary suspect intentionally pointed and fired the weapon in a 'joking manner,' rather than the firearm malfunctioning as initially claimed by 'Guntube' commentators.   Another piece of history came through the shop: the semiautomatic rifle that won the war for US Gi’s during WWII. The Famous Springfield M1 Garand, which saw service from 1936 to 1957, was replaced by its big brother, the M14 (M1A). The M1 Garand is a .30 Cal (.30-06 Springfield, gas-operated, eight-round “clip” feed rifle, where the shooter places the clip into the internal “magazine”. Yes, it used a clip. Today, we have the luxury of using box feed magazines, which were one of the differences between its big brother, the M14(M1A) rifle. They changed the furniture, re-chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, and added a 20-round box feed magazine. Interesting fact, the M1 Garand was also re-chambered to 7.62x51 and saw action early in the Korean conflict before being retired from service.   A customer brought in a Remington 1100 Trap 12 gauge shotgun, and the used barrel they purchased on eBay wouldn't fit. The puzzling part is that the barrel fits on their brother-in-law's Remington 1100, and conversely, the brother-in-law's barrel fits on the customer's shotgun. Figure 1: Misalignment gap at the top of the open chamber.    Figure 2: Back of the barrel hitting the right side of the receiver. We quickly determined that the alignment groove in the newly acquired barrel was narrower than that of the factory barrel. This discrepancy caused a misalignment with the receiver, making the barrel tilt to the right and causing the right side of the chamber to hit the outside of the receiver.   This is our latest creation for our good friend call-sign Methos. His requirements were to build a custom long-range rifle on our AR-15 platforms. Luckily an unnamed DOD unit had already made the same request and Hornady answered the call with the 6mm ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge). This build features our custom 3.25 lbs trigger job with minimal pre-travel and a crisp clean break out of a stainless still trigger and hammer set. Polished to a mirror finish. We use stainless steel to prevent damage caused by removing the hardening coating on normal Mil-spec trigger and hammer sets. Another unique feature is the stainless-steel tanker-style muzzle brake that looks similar to the Barret .50 cal rifles. This matches the barrel perfectly.   This is truly a one-of-a-kind build. Featuring the Bear Creak Arsenal’s patented right-side charging upper, Adams Arms carbine piston kit, and Frog Arms custom lower. This build required carbide bits to drill and tap the holes in the side of the Adams Arms bolt carrier using a template based on the Bear Creek direct-impingement bolt carrier. This transformed the Adams Arms bolt carrier into a right-side charging bolt carrier for this custom upper. Adams Arms piston is installed with their 15-inch M-Lok rail and barrel nut (the Adams Arms piston does not work with the Bear Creek barrel nut). In defense of Adams Arms, their piston kits were originally designed for mil-spec barrel nuts. Adams Arms are great pistons and I have a couple in my personal collection. Compatibility with more manufacturers’ barrel nuts is one of the reasons Frog Arms is now using Superlative Arms piston Kits.
